Practice management for tax and accounting firms

Leave on time.Even in March.

MyOnline.TAX writes every filing deadline for every client, puts every month of bookkeeping on one grid, chases the statements you are waiting for, and runs all of it under your firm's name. Nothing lives in anyone's head anymore.

or scroll at your own pace
8:00 am · the standup that runs itself

Today is already on every screen.

Firm-wide and per person: what is due, what is stuck, who is on it. Nobody asks for status. Nobody writes the list.

11:00 am · the chase

The missing statement chases itself.

The reminder goes out from your firm's portal, in the client's language, on your schedule. The statement comes back through the same portal, and February moves from Waiting for Client to In Progress.

2:30 pm · the new client

A new client. Seven deadlines, zero typed.

Entity, state, fiscal year, save. The real filings appear with their statutory dates, extension included, and every one of them already has an owner.

4:45 pm · tomorrow is rebalanced

The work moved to the people with room for it.

One click hands over a whole load. One note tags who is taking it, and the people who need to know, know. Nine items tomorrow, nine owners. You ran the firm. The system ran the rest.

act one · 11:52 pm

Somewhere in your firm,
this wall exists.

Thirty-two deadlines on a corkboard. A calendar, a spreadsheet, and one person who remembers all of it. It works. Until March.

the import

Every deadline.
Written by the system,
not by memory.

Import the client list you already have: entity, states, fiscal year. The real filings appear with their statutory dates. An extension becomes a second deadline, tracked like one.

2:50 am · the wall is empty

Nothing fell off.
Nothing was forgotten.

Sorted by date, assigned to a person, visible to the whole team. A late partnership return is penalized per partner, per month. No client has ever cared whose note fell off the wall.

the grid

Every month visible.
Every client.
Five seconds.

Rows are clients, columns are months. Done, stuck, open, per bank account and per track. Stuck months stop hiding, and nobody has to ask for status.

your name

Your name on all of it.

Watch the header on that print: it just became yours. Your logo, your colors, your own subdomain. Your team and your clients see your firm on every screen. Nobody sees ours.

5:00 pm · the office

And you leave on time.

Zero notes on the wall. Every deadline is in the system, assigned and visible. Nobody stays late to remember them.

7:10 am · the next morning

Nothing lives on the wall anymore.

Start tonight. By March you will not remember running it from memory.

Set up in an afternoon.
Feel it in March.

  • Day 1. Import the spreadsheet you already have. Your logo, colors and subdomain go on before your team logs in.
  • Day 2. Every deadline is written, by entity and state. Every month of bookkeeping is on the grid, with an owner.
  • Day 3. The first missing statement gets chased from your own portal, in the client's language, without you.
  • Day 14. Decide. No credit card was ever asked. Cancel from inside the system, and everything exports.
the machinery

That was the story. Here is the machinery.

All of it in one workspace, under one flat price. No modules to license, no per-seat math.

clients

Client records that drive everything

Entity type, states, tax years, owners and bank accounts. The Network map shows spouses, partners, referrers and advisors, and Structures draws the ownership chart.

compliance

Compliance & Tax, by tax year

Year provisioning creates each client's tax year and its filings from 114 tax and 171 compliance task types. Official and internal due dates, extensions tracked as second deadlines, overrides when a date moves.

tracks

Bookkeeping in two tracks

A month grid per bank account: your ledger on one track, portal documents on the other. Statuses your firm defines, markers for blocked months, attached statements and portal uploads.

work

Tasks with checklists, notes and time

Dependencies, checklists that can become tasks, notes where you @mention a teammate or highlight something for the client, attachments, timers and a change history.

recurring

Recurring work and campaigns

Roll a service out to a group of clients: annual meetings, monthly statement checks, a new-service outreach. Series create their tasks and close themselves.

command

Dashboard, calendar, team workload

Firm and personal counters, deadline milestones on a timeline, and a workload view where you move one item or hand over someone's whole load.

reports

Reports & KPIs

Status distribution, monthly activity, completion by category, time tracking and forecast, all exportable. Large exports are chunked so they never fail silently.

team

Roles, access profiles, audit log

Admin, bookkeeping and tax prep, executive viewer, plus custom access profiles that can only take access away. MFA, locked accounts, business hours, audit log and a recoverable Trash.

mcp

Your AI assistant gets a seat

Agent Integrations connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or Codex to your workspace, acting as the signed-in user with the same permissions and audit trail. Ask which months are stuck, draft a task, log a CRM note.

In their words.

questions firms ask us

Straight answers.

Does it prepare or file tax returns?
No, and that is deliberate. You keep the preparation software you already trust. MyOnline.TAX manages everything around the return: the deadlines, the documents, the bookkeeping status, the people. That is where firms actually lose time and money.
Does it replace my bookkeeping software?
No. It manages the bookkeeping process, not the ledger. You configure workflow tracks that reflect how your team actually works, in your ledger, from portal statements, or both, and the grid tracks every month of each.
How long does setup take?
Most firms are working in it the same day. Clients import from a spreadsheet with a validation step before anything is created, and the batch can be rolled back. If switching in busy season worries you, start the trial with 10 clients instead of 300.
Will my staff actually adopt it?
Two things help. Each person uses it in their own language, out of five. And most staff only need one screen, the one showing their own work for the week. Role-based training guides are included.
What is the MCP integration?
MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to systems securely. With the integration enabled, an assistant your firm already uses can read from and act on your workspace with your permissions: ask which months are stuck, pull a deadline list, or draft a client follow-up. It is available on the Elite plan and currently in beta.
What happens after the trial or a promotion?
Standard pricing, published on this page and shown again in checkout before you pay anything. No surprises. Promotional periods are cumulative for the life of the account, so cancelling and returning does not reset them.
Are we locked in?
No. Reports and lists export to spreadsheet formats, and the top plan includes API access. We would rather earn the renewal than block the exit.
Is our data secure?
Each firm's data is isolated at the database level, not just hidden in the interface. Access rules are enforced on the server, multi-factor authentication is available, logins are alerted and logged, and every change lands in an audit trail. Deleted records go to a recoverable Trash.
Which countries does it cover?
It is built for United States tax practice, federal and state. The interface itself works in five languages, which matters for multilingual teams and offshore staff doing US books.
We run fine with a spreadsheet. Why change?
Until it is March and the person who keeps it is out sick. A spreadsheet holds dates. It does not generate them from entity and state, chase the people who owe you documents, or show every month of every client at once. Start the trial with the spreadsheet you already have. Importing it is step one.
Is it for a firm my size?
Solo preparers, three-person shops and firms with a few dozen people all run on it. Pricing is flat per plan, within plan limits, so hiring your next bookkeeper never changes the invoice. Start with the plan that matches your client count and move up when you outgrow it.
How does the free trial work?
Fourteen days, no credit card, the full workspace under your own subdomain. Import ten clients, invite your team and run a real week in it. If you subscribe, everything you set up stays. If you do not, nothing is charged and you can export what you entered.
Is the client portal available now?
It is in beta with selected firms and launches for everyone in Q4 2026 as an add-on. The reminders you saw in the film, the document requests and the uploads are part of it. Ask for beta access in the demo, and we will tell you plainly whether your firm is a fit for it today.
